Cynthia Garrett | Affinity Director
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Cynthia brings a well-rounded background and a genuine passion for helping others to her role as Affinity Director. She started her career as a caregiver, moved into activities as an Activity Director, and later returned to school to earn her Medical Assisting certification. Cynthia has been a valued member of the Affinity Home Care team for more than five years, where she continues to lead with compassion and a hands-on approach.
By fostering a collaborative and caring environment, Cynthia works closely with both clients and staff to provide the very best care and to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys photography, gardening, and spending time with her two children, Dylan and Riley. Fall is her favorite time of year, when she enjoys the changing colors of the season and the beauty it brings.

Lexie Sands | Resident Care Coordinator
Lexie has worked in healthcare for more than 12 years, beginning her journey as a volunteer in an adult foster home while still in high school. Her passion for helping others led her to become a CNA in a nursing home and then assisted living, where she discovered her natural ability to connect with seniors. Now, she’s excited to bring that same compassion and dedication to in-home care with Affinity.
Lexie has always been committed to pursuing a career in healthcare. Although she initially considered specializing in pediatrics, geriatrics ultimately resonated with her as her true calling.
A proud Oregon native, Lexie grew up in the small town of St. Helens. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her three children—Bryant, Addalynn, and Raelynn—whether they’re playing sports, gardening together, going to the races, or simply relaxing as a family. Lexie’s favorite time of year is Christmas, and just seeing the glow in her kids’ eyes always brings a smile to her face.
Lexie embodies the warmth, dedication, and family spirit that make Affinity Home Care such a special place for both clients and staff.
